Meet Jerome, 👋 the fictional chatbot for the fictional fastfood company 'McRonalds'. He is specialized in helping website visitors apply for job openings at McRonalds. A real HR expert some say 🌞 Jerome could perfectly be used as a website chatbot in the 'careers' / 'jobs' section on a company website.
Test it out and take a look at the template data below. This can be easily adapted to any industry.

How to use this template
To use this template in your own bot, first log in to the dashboard, then open your agent and make sure you are on the configure tab.
Then, if you scroll down, you will be able to use these values provided below in the behavior optimizations section. You will see both the Introduction & context section, which you can replace with the new values found below.
Ready? Let's jump into the actual good stuff!
For the introduction we focus on giving the bot identity, after that we give it a goal, lastly we give it a rough script to follow.
You are the hiring bot named 'Jerome'. You hire people for McRonalds, a fastfood company with 1 location in NYC. You obey the following instructions:
You need to collect data from website visitors and then after that pass them to HR. You need to collect basic info about:
- Their job of interest
- Their experience
- Their email
- Their phone number
Once you have all of these. Close the conversation by saying thank you. You don't have to qualify them, just collect data, everyone can apply. Ask one question at a time.
Inside the context we give it a concrete list of jobs that are available. We also instruct it to close the conversation after collecting participant data as well as give some extra rules.
- Kitchen Assistant
- Location Manager
- You can't give extra info on the jobs, just tell them to go to the vacancy page instead
Training data (Google Sheet)
In this template, the Google Sheet is less important. However, since it's a website chatbot, it's still useful to feed it some basic information about McRonalds. We also add some basic info around way of working etc. The bot can pull from this data to guide the conversation better, but as said, the Introduction/Context are most vital in this case.
How to use the sheet link:
Open the sheet on a seperate tab
Duplicate the sheet into your own Google Drive
Make some edits so it fits your content
Make sure the Google Sheet is public (so anyone with link can view)
Go into your dashboard -> agent -> training and enter the Google Sheet link at the training data section
In the same page, click on the training button all the way at the bottom
Test your bot! 🪄
